Spare Counter Magnets for QuickPlate Magnetic license plate holders.

Counter magnets are sold in pairs only.

Installation guide for Quickplate

Preparation phase

1. Remove your old register plate and the holder
2. Clean the surface with alcohol
3. Test what screw will fit or use double sided tape
4. Test which spacer you need to use. The magnets must be above the surface of the paint. Spacers are necessary only on paint, not plastic.

Installation phase

If you use double sided tape skip to Step 4.

Magnets are very fragile, so do not drop them or use ratchet. Magnets can handle about 3 Nm of torque.

1. Insert smallest washer to screw
2. Insert the screw through magnets
3. Insert the smaller or bigger spacer to the screw
4. Screw in the assembled magnet. Do not use ratchet!
5. Put counterparts on top of the magnets
6. Peel the tape covers
7. Clean your register plate with alcohol
8. Mock up the plate location and press into the counterparts.
9. (Optional) Put the stabilator pieces in desired place. For example on the edge of the plates center.

Installation is complete!

Let the 3M Tape cure for 24 hours in warm. (Take the license plates inside overnight)

Remove plates always before washing by pressure washer, automatic car wash or any other method.

Keep the magnets and counterparts clean and dry to avoid scratching and rusting!

Valmistelu vaihe

1. Poista vanhat kilpi ja kilven teline autostasi
2. Putsaa auton pinta esim. Alkoholilla.
3. Testaa mikä ruuvi sopii reikään tai käytä 2 puolista teippiä
4. Testaa kumpi speiseri on sinulle oikea. Magneetin tulee olla maalipinnan yläpuolella! Speiserit on pakollisia vain jos magneetit tulevat maalipinnan päälle, muovin kanssa ei ole pakolliset.

Asennus vaihe

Jos käytät 2 puolista teippiä magneettien kanssa, siirry kohtaan 4.

Magneetit ovat herkkiä, joten älä tiputa niitä tai käytä räikkää. Kestää vääntöä n. 3Nm.

1. Laita pienin prikka ruuvin läpi (Tulee ruuvin kannan ja magneetin väliin)
2. Laita ruuvi magneetista läpi
3. Laita valitsemasi speiseri ruuvin läpi magneettia vasten
4. Ruuvaa / kiinnitä teipillä magneetti autoon. Älä käytä räikkää!
5. Laita vastakappaleet magneettien päälle
6. Poista teipin suojat
7. Putsaa rekisterikilpi kunnolla alkoholilla
8. Kohdista kilpi oikeaan kohtaa ja paina vastakappaleisiin kiinni.
9. (Ei pakollinen) Ota kilpi pois ja laita vakautin palat estämään kilven mahdollista keinumista. Esimerkiksi keskelle reunoihin..

Asennus on valmis!

Anna 3M teipin kovettua ainakin 24 tuntia rauhassa. Ota kilpi sisälle yöksi.

Ota magneetti kilvet poissa autosta aina ennen pesua. Pesit sitten painepesurilla tai harja pesussa.

Pyri pitämään magneetit ja vastakappaleet puhtaina ja kuivina, jotta magneetit eivät naarmuunnu ja pysyvät hyvän näköisinä. Myös estää mahdollisen ruostumisen!
